Ideal for

  • Workplace and office car parks
  • Apartment and managed residential developments
  • Fleet sites planning additional charging bays
  • Mixed-user locations requiring RFID access
  • Three-phase TN installations requiring up to 22kW

Works well with

  • Easee Equalizer 100A load balancer
  • Compatible Type 2 Mode 3 cables
  • Easee App and Easee Control
  • Cloud OCPP 1.6J service providers
  • Easee Ready commercial infrastructure

The Easee Charge 10223 is a black commercial EV charger rated from 4.1kW to 22kW on a 3 x 400V AC, 50Hz three-phase TN supply, with lower outputs available on single phase and three-phase IT systems. It uses a Type 2 socket, weighs 1.5kg and has IP54 protection. It suits workplaces, apartment parking, fleets and multi-bay sites that require RFID access, connected management and coordinated load or phase balancing.

  • 4.1kW to 22kW on three-phase TN at 6A to 32A
  • 3 x 230V or 400V AC input at 50Hz
  • Type 2 socket with permanent cable-lock option
  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE Cat M1 and cloud OCPP 1.6J
  • Integrated earth-fault, overload and temperature protection
  • 256mm high x 193mm wide x 106mm deep, 1.5kg, black
  • IP54, IK10, Class I and UK Smart Charging Regulations compliance

How does Easee manage a growing site?

Easee Link allows chargers to communicate locally and coordinate available power and phase use. An automatic queuing system manages charging order where demand exceeds the power available to all connected vehicles.

The current UK documentation allows unlimited chargers across a site installation. Circuit design, communications and management architecture still need to be planned around the number of bays and the available electrical capacity.

Easee Control provides browser-based site oversight, while the Easee App supports charger control and monitoring. Cloud OCPP 1.6J also allows connection to compatible service providers.

What does the socketed format suit?

The Type 2 socket allows each driver or site operator to choose a cable length that suits the bay. The cable can be locked permanently through the charger where a tethered-style routine is preferred.

At 256 x 193 x 106mm, the enclosure uses less wall or post space than many commercial chargers. The replaceable cover also allows the exterior colour to be changed without replacing the charging hardware.

No separate vehicle cable is included with the socketed unit. A suitable Mode 3 cable must be available for each charging session.

What circuit and Equalizer checks apply?

Maximum output requires a suitable three-phase TN supply and a vehicle that can accept 22kW AC. The charger automatically adjusts its current from 6A to 32A according to the configured capacity.

Local balancing between Easee chargers uses the Easee Link communication system. Monitoring the building's main fuse and adjusting charging against wider site demand requires a correctly specified Easee Equalizer.

The charger contains earth-fault, overload and temperature protection. The installer must still select the upstream circuit breaker, cable, isolation and earthing arrangement for the installation.

Does Easee Charge include a vehicle cable?

No. It has a Type 2 socket and is supplied as an untethered charger. A compatible Mode 3 cable must be selected separately.

Will 10223 deliver 22kW on single phase?

No. Single-phase output is limited to 7.4kW at 32A. Up to 22kW requires a suitable three-phase TN supply and compatible vehicle.

Is an Easee Equalizer always required?

It is required where charging must respond automatically to the building's wider fuse load. Charger-to-charger communication and local balancing use Easee Link.

How many chargers can one site support?

Easee's current UK information states that the Charge platform supports unlimited chargers per site installation. The number placed on each circuit and the total site capacity still require an engineered design.
