Ideal for

  • Long private driveways requiring a 10m fixed lead
  • Detached garages and offset wall positions
  • Vehicles with inlets far from the mounting point
  • Pale render, painted brick and light exterior finishes
  • Solar PV homes requiring CT-based monitoring

Works well with

  • Supplied CT clamp for load and solar measurement
  • Intelligent Octopus Go through current integration
  • OVO Charge Anytime with Home 3 Pro
  • Optional RJ45 Ethernet for weak Wi-Fi locations
  • Installer-selected 32A or 40A circuit protection

The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro HV3PROAAUW100T2 is an Ultra White 7.4kW tethered EV charger for a 230V AC, 50Hz single-phase supply, with a fixed 10m Type 2 lead and an IP66 enclosure. It is intended for properties where cable reach is the deciding factor, including long drives, detached garages and off-centre parking bays. The cable is the longest option in the Home 3 Pro range and weighs more than the shorter variants, so the storage position should be planned during the survey.

  • 7.4kW maximum output with a 32A rated current
  • 230V AC, 50Hz single-phase incoming supply
  • Fixed 10m Mode 3 cable with Type 2 connector
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE 4.2 and optional Ethernet
  • Integrated PEN fault protection with 6mA DC RCD-DD
  • 328mm high x 243mm wide x 101mm deep, 7.3kg, Ultra White
  • IP66 ingress protection with IK10 impact resistance

How is long-reach charging controlled?

The Hypervolt app provides charging schedules, consumption reporting, charger locking and adjustable maximum-current settings. Boost permits normal charging, Eco combines grid energy with available solar and Super Eco operates from sufficient surplus solar generation.

Automatic load management uses the supplied CT clamp to monitor total property demand. When the configured service threshold is approached, the system can reduce charging current to as low as 6A rather than allowing the EV circuit to overload the available supply.

Intelligent Octopus Go and OVO Charge Anytime currently provide official Home 3 Pro integrations. The energy supplier controls charging once the relevant account, tariff and authorisation process has been completed.

Where does a 10m lead make sense?

The cable suits mounting positions dictated by the electrical route rather than the ideal vehicle inlet location. It can reach around the front or rear of a vehicle, across a deeper private bay or from a detached garage to the usual parking position.

The additional cable must be stored carefully after use. Hypervolt instructs users to wind the lead around the recessed charger body before returning the connector to its holster. The route should not cross public land, busy paths or areas where the cable may be driven over.

How should the circuit be protected?

The charger incorporates PEN fault detection and 6mA DC residual-current detection. A separate external RCD remains mandatory and must be individual, double pole and at least Type A.

A suitably sized overcurrent protective device is also required. Hypervolt instructs the installer to assess whether a 32A or 40A device is appropriate for the operating environment, installation method and expected duration of full-load charging.

The supply and CT routes can enter through the rear or underside of the enclosure. All openings must be sealed with suitable components to maintain IP66 protection. Related installation products can be reviewed in the EV circuit protection range.

Is 10m the longest Home 3 Pro cable?

Yes. Hypervolt lists 5m, 7.5m and 10m tethered Type 2 cable options. This SKU is the Ultra White 10m variant.

What is the verified weight of this model?

The current Hypervolt brochure lists the 10m Home 3 Pro at 7.3kg. The weight is shared by the 10m colour variants because the cable length and charger platform are the same.

Can the CT wiring be extended to a detached garage?

Yes. Cat5e can extend the CT connection up to 50m, while HyperConnect or EV-Ultra can be used for routes up to 100m. The installation must follow Hypervolt's specified wiring arrangement.

Does Ultra White change the electrical specification?

No. Ultra White is the cover finish. Output, cable format, connectivity, protection and charging modes match the corresponding Ultra Black and Space Grey 10m variants.
