Ideal for

  • Three-phase homes with light exterior finishes
  • Workplace bays used by regular drivers
  • Solar PV properties requiring energy-aware charging
  • Vehicles within reach of a 6.5m Type 2 lead
  • Sites requiring local LCD controls

Works well with

  • myenergi app and connected energy devices
  • myenergi harvi wireless CT sensing
  • myenergi eddi or libbi systems
  • Installer-selected three-phase circuit protection
  • Compatible Type 2 three-phase vehicles

The myenergi zappi ZAPPI-2H22TW-G is a white multiphase EV charger rated at 22kW from a 400V AC, 50Hz three-phase supply or 7kW when configured for 230V single phase. Charging current is variable from 6A to 32A, with a fixed 6.5m Type 2 cable and IP65 enclosure. It suits repeat-use bays where a pale finish and permanently available lead matter, while the electrical platform remains the same as the black tethered model.

  • 22kW three-phase or 7kW single-phase operation
  • 400V three phase or 230V single phase at 50Hz
  • Permanent 6.5m Type 2 charging lead
  • Graphical LCD, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and myenergi app
  • 6mA DC protection with integrated PEN fault monitoring
  • 438mm high x 282mm wide x 122mm deep in white
  • IP65, IK10, CE, UKCA and Smart Charging Regulations compliance

How does zappi control renewable charging?

ECO blends available self-generated electricity with grid power so charging can continue when generation falls. ECO+ can pause the vehicle when the available surplus drops below the configured requirement.

FAST ignores the renewable priority and charges at the maximum available rate. This allows the same unit to serve solar-aware operation and conventional immediate charging.

The LCD provides local menus and status information. Remote controls, schedules and monitoring are available through the myenergi app when the charger has a reliable network connection.

What does the white tethered format suit?

The pale casing is suited to white render, painted brick, light cladding and visible building fronts. Colour does not change the charging output, protection or connectivity.

The 6.5m lead remains attached and ready for repeat users. Cable storage and connector position should be planned so the lead does not lie across the bay or a pedestrian route.

Where users need to bring different cable lengths or remove the lead entirely, the white socketed model is the more flexible format.

How should the 22kW circuit be designed?

The installation requires a suitable three-phase supply and sufficient capacity for a 32A maximum current on each phase. Vehicle capability must be checked because the charger cannot override the onboard AC limit.

The UK -G protection arrangement supports suitable PME installations without a separate earth electrode. The installer must still assess the upstream residual-current and overcurrent devices, isolation and cable sizing.

A separate surge protective device is required for a compliant new circuit. Three-phase CT direction, phase rotation and load-balancing settings should be checked during commissioning.

How does the white model differ from black?

The white and black tethered units share their output, cable length, connectivity and protection. The exterior colour is the distinguishing difference.

Can this zappi be installed on single phase?

Yes. The current multiphase hardware can be configured for up to 7kW from a 230V single-phase supply. The 22kW output needs 400V three phase.

Does the cable detach from the charger?

No. ZAPPI-2H22TW-G has a fixed 6.5m Type 2 lead. A socketed sibling should be selected where the cable needs to be removed after charging.

Can it charge without solar panels?

Yes. FAST mode operates as a conventional Mode 3 charging setting using grid electricity where required. ECO and ECO+ add renewable-energy control when suitable generation and sensing are present.
