Which vehicle inlet does it suit?

This cable is for vehicles with a Type 1 J1772 inlet. The chargepoint end is Type 2 IEC 62196, so it is used with socketed Type 2 AC chargepoints. It is not the right cable for a vehicle with a Type 2 inlet, because those vehicles need a Type 2 to Type 2 lead instead.

The variant decision is based on vehicle capability and parking distance. A higher-rated or longer cable does not improve charging if the vehicle or charger cannot use the extra capacity, and longer cables are heavier to handle.
