The Hypervolt Home 3 Pro HV3PROAAUB100T2 is an Ultra Black 7.4kW, 32A tethered EV charger for a 230V AC, 50Hz single-phase supply, supplied with a 10m Type 2 cable and IP66 enclosure. It belongs in the Hypervolt EV chargers family and the wider home EV chargers range for homes where the charge point sits further from the vehicle inlet, and differs from sibling Ultra Black variants by using the longest Home 3 Pro Type 2 lead.

Will 10m solve a dark side-wall bay?

The 10m lead helps where the charger is on a side wall, garage pier or wider driveway. The cable route should be measured before fixing the charger, with storage planned around the holster.

Can Ethernet avoid weak Wi-Fi?

The Hypervolt app provides scheduled charging, plug and charge operation, remote lock control, LED adjustment and consumption reporting. Boost, Eco and Super Eco modes set charging around grid supply and local solar generation.

What current rating affects protection?

The charger is rated at 32A maximum. Hypervolt recommends 40A overcurrent protection using a suitable B or C curve device, with final selection made by the installer.

Is this the Ultra Black 10m Home 3 Pro?

Yes. Hypervolt publishes the Home 3 Pro with a 10m Type 2 cable option, and this variant combines that cable length with the Ultra Black finish.

Does the 10m cable reduce the output?

No. The Home 3 Pro platform remains rated at 7.4kW and 32A on a single-phase supply. Cable length changes physical reach, not maximum output.

Can Ethernet be used on this black model?

Yes. Hypervolt lists Ethernet in addition to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE. A hardwired connection can be useful where the mounting position has weak Wi-Fi.

What current rating should the circuit allow?

"Ordered a Hypervolt charger, power cable and a fuse box. Waited a week to be told that both the cable and fuse box were out of stock. They upgraded the cable from 4mm to 6mm at no extra cost as the 6mm was in stock, however the cable supplied was Prysmian rather than the Doncaster Cables EV Ultra that was actually advertised on the website. The fuse box I found cheaper elsewhere so they cancelled and refunded that part of the order. Easy and helpful to deal with but could be better on the communication and keeping the stock situation up to date on the website."
