The Hager MTN106 is a 6A B curve single pole miniature circuit breaker with 6kA breaking capacity in a 1 module DIN rail format. It is used where the installation design needs overcurrent protection for a suitable low-current final circuit and residual-current protection is provided separately where required.

Where does the 6A MTN MCB fit?

MTN106 is commonly selected for lower-rated circuits where the design calls for a 6A B curve device. The installer must confirm load, cable size, installation method, grouping and disconnection requirements before fitting it.

How does it differ from an RCBO?

This is an MCB, so it protects against overload and short-circuit conditions. It does not provide 30mA residual-current protection. Where individual Type A residual-current protection is required, use a suitable Hager RCBO instead.

What should be checked before ordering?

Check the board range, busbar arrangement, prospective fault current and circuit rating. The 1 module width helps preserve board capacity, but the final device selection remains part of the electrical design.
