Ideal for

  • 25A final circuits requiring MCB protection
  • Hager board builds needing a less common MTN rating
  • Design Evo consumer units populated with MTN outgoing devices
  • Installations where residual-current protection is provided separately
  • Replacement of existing Hager MTN125 breakers

Works well with

  • Hager MTN120 and MTN132 MCBs for adjacent amperage options
  • Hager Design Evo main switch boards with MTN outgoing devices
  • Hager MZN175 padlockable locking kit for MCB isolation
  • Hager LZ060 heat dissipation insert where spacing is specified
  • Hager ADB925R RCBO where individual Type A 30mA protection is required

The Hager MTN125 is a 25A B curve single pole miniature circuit breaker with 6kA rated short-circuit breaking capacity in a 1 module DIN rail format. It is intended for suitable Hager board layouts where the electrical design calls for a 25A overcurrent protective device.

  • 25A rated current with B curve tripping characteristic
  • 6kA rated short-circuit breaking capacity to IEC 60898-1
  • Single pole 1P format in a 1 module body
  • 230 to 400V AC rated operational voltage and 50 to 60Hz frequency
  • Screw terminal top connection and biconnect bottom connection
  • 70mm depth, 17.5mm width and 83mm height
  • IP20 protection with 1 to 35mm² rigid and 1 to 25mm² flexible conductor capacity

Why list the 25A rating?

MTN125 captures a specific rating that should not be hidden inside a generic MCB listing. Some installations require a 25A protective device, and the product page should make that exact Hager reference easy to find.

What does the installer need to confirm?

The installer must check the circuit load, conductor size, installation method, grouping, protective device coordination and prospective fault current. Do not substitute the 25A rating for a 20A or 32A device unless the design supports it.

How does it sit with the wider MTN range?

MTN125 sits between MTN120 and MTN132. Link those adjacent ratings as alternatives, and use the ADB925R RCBO page where individual residual-current protection is required.

Is MTN125 a current Hager device?

Yes. Hager lists MTN125 as an MCB 1P 6kA B-25A 1M product.

Does MTN125 provide 30mA protection?

No. It is an MCB only. Use a suitable RCBO or RCD arrangement where residual-current protection is required.
