Ideal for

  • Velox owners wanting a softer exterior finish
  • Homes with green joinery or muted paintwork
  • Charger positions beside planting and landscaping
  • Cosmetic cover changes where the charger remains sound

Pair with

  • A compatible NRG Charge Velox enclosure
  • Pale render, natural brick and planted driveways
  • The Black Velox charger supplied as the base unit
  • Supplier-confirmed fascia compatibility for the exact model

A softer Sage Green finish for the Velox

The NRG Charge Velox Sage Green front fascia changes the visible face of a compatible charger without changing the electrical unit behind it. Its muted green tone offers a quieter alternative to the Black cover supplied with the charger, making it useful where the charge point sits beside planting, painted timber, pale masonry or a garden-led exterior scheme.

This is the front cover component only. The charger body, socket and connected equipment remain separate. Choosing Sage Green has no effect on charging output, phase arrangement, network connection or control modes.

Where Sage Green works particularly well

Exterior equipment does not always need to disappear into a dark wall. Sage Green can soften the contrast on a light elevation and echo colours already present in gates, garage doors, window frames or landscape planting. It is distinctive without having the stronger visual impact of a bright primary colour.

Screen settings and indoor lighting can alter how any finish appears. Review the dedicated product render and installed photography in daylight where possible, then use the exact Sage Green name and `NRG-FASC-SG` identifier when confirming the order.

A fascia accessory, not a complete charger

The package is not an EV charge point. It does not contain a wiring backbox, sealed electronic body, Type 2 outlet, vehicle lead, RFID equipment or load-management sensor. Those components belong to the separately purchased Velox charger and its installation.

Keeping the distinction visible matters in product feeds, quotations and baskets as well as on the page. The selected line should always identify a Sage Green front fascia so it cannot be interpreted as a low-output or unusually compact complete charger.

Check the exact Velox before ordering

NRG uses a shared modular appearance across the current Velox family, but final compatibility should be matched to the charger model and hardware revision. LAMPS plans to stock 7kW, 7kW 4G, 22kW and 22kW 4G units; the fascia should only be supplied once the exact model is included in NRG's approved accessory information.

A similar shape from another NRG product or charger brand does not establish fit. If the existing cover or body has been damaged, confirm whether the issue is cosmetic before treating a new fascia as the answer.

Changing the visible cover safely

The Velox construction separates the passive wiring backbox, main sealed charger body and front fascia. Follow the current NRG instructions when removing or fitting the cover, and make sure the equipment is in the safe state specified by the manufacturer before it is touched.

Do not open the sealed electronics or disturb the fixed wiring. A loose charger, cracked body, damaged socket, warning indication or suspected electrical fault needs appropriate technical attention rather than a new decorative front.

Care for the muted finish

Use the cleaning method permitted in the current NRG care information. A soft approach helps preserve the colour and surface around the display opening. Abrasive pads, harsh solvents and improvised coatings may mark the fascia or affect how it fits the charger.

Periodic visual checks are sensible on an exposed driveway wall. Look for impact damage, movement or contamination around the edges, while leaving any inspection of the charger body and electrical installation to competent personnel.

Compare the charger and other finishes

Common questions

Is the Sage Green fascia an EV charger?

No. It is one exterior cover for a compatible Velox. The complete electrical charger must be purchased separately.

Does Sage Green change how quickly the vehicle charges?

No. Output and connectivity are determined by the 7kW or 22kW Velox model behind the fascia.

Will this fit all four Velox chargers?

The common enclosure suggests broad family use, but the exact model and revision must appear in final NRG compatibility data before fit is promised.

Can this cover repair a damaged charger?

It can replace a cosmetic front only where the underlying equipment is sound. Damage to the body, socket or installation needs technical assessment.

What comes with the Sage Green fascia?

The product is one Sage Green front cover. No charger hardware, cable, sensor or access-control equipment is included.
